WilkesRM have fulfilled all aspects of resource management work for Delegat Limited in Marlborough since 2002. This work includes re-consenting for existing water permits and undertaking resource consent work for new developments.
Most recently, WilkesRM applied for and obtained resource consents for water storage, direct irrigation, infiltration galleries and creek realignments for a new 70 hectare vineyard in the Awatere Valley.
The project required working collaboratively with other river users to find a workable solution for all parties. The final outcome was the development of a sustainable river management strategy allowing Delegat Limited to source the water required to run a producing vineyard that can be maintained into the future without adversely impacting on other users.
